Hey, I’m Emma.

I’m an actor, writer, and book lover from New York, making a home in LA. I recently graduated a year early (whew!) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Creative Writing. I studied at the Atlantic Acting School, performing in the premiere of Conference Room B by Eboni Booth (Paris, Julia on HBO), She Kills Monsters, a one-woman version of Mary Stuart , and in campus productions–my favorite being Tanya in Mamma Mia!. Prior to NYU, I studied at Herbert Berghof Studios and at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Program for classical vocal performance.

As a writer, I’m primarily interested in the messy, complicated lives of young women. I write dark comedy with healthy doses of drama. I love a ‘good for her’ story, and finding levity in dark corners. Check out my current projects here!

As a performer, I love Shakespeare, Chekhov, and just about any contemporary small cast play (Betrayal? Constellations? Oleana? I’m sold). I love character driven comedy—such as the kind you can find in little kid, my part-one-woman-show-part-stand-up-comedy-special, which will be out here in June 2024. It’s a show about growing up, and all the problems that come with it.
